Sharing the water of life
It was a precious time of fellowship and sharing. The scripture for the day was John 4 v 14. Jesus said "Whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him/her shall never thirst; the water that I shall give him/her shall be in him/her a well of water springing up into everlasting life".
For those of us who have repented and asked the Lord Jesus to come into our hearts, we have in essence drunk of the water that He gives and we have LIFE. This life is like a fountain in our being that is alive, vibrant and "bubbles up". We can suppress it by filling our life with a lot of other things, so we need to regularly "unblock" our "wells" of clutter - the unimportant things; the cares of life; the worries of day to day living - and rather allow the living water to "bubble" out of us. The more we do it, the more "normal" it becomes!
The encouragement to all of us is to share (let the living water flow out); we never know how our sharing will others.
We were so blessed to hear Belinda's testimony; her long journey which eventually brought her to Christ.
